What is Feldspar?

Feldspars are a group of minerals found in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks and represent a large family of minerals. Feldspars, which have a chemically complex composition, are generally classified as silicate minerals. Their colors can range from white to gray and they can be transparent, opaque or transparent.

Feldspars, an important component of the earth's crust, are especially abundant in granite, andesite, basalt and other magmatic rocks. Industrially, feldspars are widely used in the ceramics, glass, porcelain, cement and paint industries. These minerals are used to make glass transparent and shiny and in the production of construction materials.

Considering the proximity to the needed region and the desired quality, they can be shipped from regional quarries, mainly from the Aydın region.
